Business Riihimäki together with the DEFINE innovation network, offers a new €20,000
convertible loan for companies that focus on defence, security, and dual-use technologies. This funding is specifically designed to support startups’ market readiness and strengthen company’s position within the sector’s ecosystem.

€20,000 convertible loan that works as your company’s self-financing portion but it cannot be marked as capital investment.
Networking:
You gain access to the DEFINE network and receive support in validating your technology with end users.
Who is eligible?
1. The company’s registered domicile and main office are in Riihimäki
2. The team has at least three founders or active shareholders
3. The founders originate from a NATO member country or Ukraine
4. The company can demonstrate at least €20,000 in self‑financing or private matching co‑investment
5. Your innovation has a scalable business model and clear, validated demand in the target market

NOTE that we do not ask any further details to your application material and your business concept is evaluated from the Pitch Deck and Video (Eligibility criteria No. 5).
